He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Rea; and his parents, Samuel Rea and Mabel Rea. He is survived by: his sons, Johnnie Rea Sr. (Deborah) and Christopher Rea (Lisa); his grandchildren, Kasey Cagel (Robert) and Johnnie W. Rea Jr.; and his brothers, Edward Wayne Rea (Esther) and Burt Calvin Rea.
