He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Shepherd and Evelyn Shepherd; his wife Mary Carolyn Shepherd; his brother Don Shepherd; and his sons-in-law, Steven Snowden and Bill Buckner.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Snowden of Grand Bay, AL, Alesia Buckner of Pascagoula, MS, Timmy Shepherd (Nita) of Pascagoula, MS and Donald Shepherd (Audrey) of Hurley, MS; his grandsons, Mark Snowden and Seth Shepherd; and his friends, Artie Scholtes and Rick Olsen. He is also survived by Nine grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
