James Pemberton Obituary

James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Pemberton and Laura Pemberton (Molly Pemberton); his son Steve Verdon Pemberton; his siblings, John, David Pemberton and Ruth Stam; and his stepson Glen Pinson.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Pemberton, Hal Walker (Mary), Suzzanne Redd and Donna Atkinson; his grandchildren, Cheryl Zafiris (Ioannis), Joli Lauban (Jason), Jordan DuPre (Gellian), Molly Pinson, Courtney Pemberton (Lewis McElderry), Lacey McElderry (Nick), Amanda Edwards (Andy Eaton) and Jan Pinson; and his great grandchildren, Laine Lauban, Basil Zafiris, Fiona McElderry, Clara, Reese McElderry, Julianna and Elias DuPre.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Serene Memorial Gardens (12800 MS-613, Moss Point, MS 39562).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's memory can be made to the American Legion in Pascagoula or Gautier, or Schnauzer Love Rescue, 2924 19th Street N., Hueytown, AL 35023.
