He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Bowen and Betty Smith Bowen; and his sister Brenda Martin. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Bowen; his children, Joel Bowen, Heather Bowen and Crystal Stauter (Mark); his stepchildren, Alicia Moore (Jay) and David Bailey (Dara); and his siblings, Barbara Tompkins (Ervin), Steve Bowen (Betty Ann) and Mike Bowen (Debra). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandsons.
