She was loved and cherished by many people including: her great-grandparents, Matthew Carter and Cassandra Barbour Carter; her sons, Elvis Mark Cumbest and James Brent Cumbest (Patti); her husband James Elvis Cumbest; her parents, John Marvin Davis and Gordie Goff Davis; her sisters, Hazel McDonald (Tommy), Ann McMillan and Lorraine Partlow (J. C.); her half-sister Elva Herndon; and her grandchildren, Grant Cumbest, Reid Cumbest, Rachel Cumbest Barker (Jonathan) and Caroline Cumbest.
