It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hubbard Lee Smith (Moss Point, Mississippi), who passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Otis Leroy Smith; and his siblings, Mary Sue Smith and Otis Leroy Smith, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Smith; his children, Jeri Baker (Wayne), Archy Smith (Deborah) and Nicki Roberts (Wesley); his grandchildren, Lemuel Baker (Kensy), Lauren Killingsworth (Brent), Shawnee Brown (Garrett), Jerica Smith (David), Peyton Foster (Alainah) of Sara Roberts, A. J. and Jason Roberts; his great grandchildren, Kyle, Noah, Dylan, Eli, Finley, Harper, Freddie, Amelia, Katherine, Lincoln, Chelsea, Tucker and Carson; and his siblings, Kenneth, Raymond, Darrell and Elaine.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hurley Methodist Church in memory of HL Smith.
