We bid farewell to Hisae (Takeda) Leikness of Moss Point, Mississippi, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 6, 2024 at the age of 92. Hisae touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her mother Taka Takeda; her sisters, Miyoko Kumakura and Kiyoko Ichisugi of Japan; her husband Howard; and her close friends, Yori Alshouse, Noriko Olson of Stoughton and Hiroko Been of Grand Bay.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Leikness of Ocean Springs, MS, Roger Leikness (Hope) of Evans, GA and James Leikness (Jennifer) of Houston, TX; her grandchildren, Katherine, Laila, Sara, Kai, Kenzo and Cilicia; and her great grandchild Alexander.
