He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Ray Ross Sr. and Margie Ruth Katzenmyer; his daughter Sheri Rena Binion; and his grandchildren, Britney Lyda and Justin Ross.
He is survived by: his wife Etta Ruth Ross of Moss Point, MS; and his children, Janice Smith (David Turner) of Moss Point, MS, Tammie Walls (Jimmy) of Denham Springs, LA, Frances Gorman (Bobby) of Moss Point, MS, Connie Edwards of Moss Point, MS, Jody Walker (Amy) of Moss Point, MS and Gordon Ray Ross III (Megan) of DeQuincy, LA. He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
