She was predeceased by: her parents, C. C. Dickerson and Annie Helen Dickerson (Gregory); and her brother Daniel Denford Dickerson. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Alfred Smith; her daughters, Debbie Kay Loris (Jay), Tammy Jean McQueen and Carol Ann Kennedy (Russell); her grandchildren, Michael McQueen, Amelia Affolter (Brandon), Spencer McQueen, Cole Kennedy (Hope), Cain Kennedy (Claire), Holly Kennedy and Kallie Loris; her brother Chris Dickerson; her nephew Travis Dickerson; and her niece Carla Smith Hamilton (Lee). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Wade Baptist Church (20623 MS-63, Moss Point, MS 39562). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Serene Memorial Gardens (12800 MS-613, Moss Point, MS 39562).
