It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Emmer Jean Jones (Moss Point, Mississippi), born in Poplarville, Mississippi, who passed away on March 6, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father John Arnold, Sr.; her husband Sam Percy Jones; her siblings, Edward Arnold, Harry Arnold, Howard "Buddy" Arnold, Joe Arnold, John Arnold, Jr., Hulon Ray Arnold, Iva Loy Mitchell, Mae Bozeman and Effie Jean Arnold; and her son-in-law Joe Self.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Sue McKinley (Don), Kerrie Barron (Tim) and Steve Jones (Danielle); and her grandsons, Kevin Self (Nicole), Samuel Barron, Jacob Jones, Mark McKinley, Seth Barron (Candace), Scott Barron (Hailey), Colby Jones (Emily) and Tyler McKinley (Jessica). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
