It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Braden Reese (Moss Point, Mississippi), who passed away on January 28, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Carlton B. Reese; her parents, Hattie Thompson-Shepherd and James Leo Braden; her stepfather Morris; her son Brian Reese; her sister Mary Jean Shepherd-Andrews; her nephew Richard D. Allen; her brother Jerry Jewel Shepherd; and her cousin Almond Braden.

She is survived by: her children, Michael B. Reese (Brenda) and Carla Clark (Louis); her grandchildren, Christopher Reese (Sade), Antonio S. Clark and Antonece Clark; her great grandchildren, Mila', CJ and Zoey; her nieces and nephews, Anita Yvette Shepherd-Jones (Joe), Tanya Balthazar, Lisha Marie Andrews, Paul H. Allen, Shaun Panyee King and Eric F. Andrews; her cousins, Nettie L. Baker, Sandra B. Wright and William Braden; and her half-siblings, Carol Price, Denise Braden and Rev. James L. Braden Jr. (Sharon). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, friends.
