He was predeceased by: his parents, Jenny Maples Stoddard and Marcus Stoddard; his wife Marie; his siblings-in-law, Carroll and Grace Williams; his children-in-law, Kenneth Herrin and Marie Stoddard; and his great grandchild Scarlett.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Griffith (Neal) of Huntsville, Rick Stoddard (MA) of Southbridge, Debra Stoddard (GA) of Grovetown and Denise Mosley (Stewart) of Mobile; and his grandchildren, Kenny Herrin (Tommie), Michelle Anderson (Tony), Anna Herrin (Tiffani), Justin Stoddard, Christopher Green (Jessica), Marcus Kilcrease (Terry), Brandon Mosley (Kayla) and Evan Mosley (Lakyn).
