She is survived by: her children, Glen Wesley Carter (Stephanie), Paul Alan Carter (Melissa) and Linda Kay Prieto (Carlos); her sister Betty Jo Blalock; and her grandchildren, Matthew Aaron Carter, Brent Alan Carter (Dana), Andrew Jacob Carter, Kayla Isabel Prieto, Adrian Paul Carter and Alex Prieto.
