He is survived by: his wife Clarice Cherry of Moss Point, MS; his children, Lillian Cherry of Moss Point, MS, Letitia Lee of Baton Rouge, LA, Marlene McClain, LaWanda, Gene Cherry Jr. of Moss Point, MS, Xavier Cherry (Beatrice) of Atlanta, GA, Craig Moffett of Gautier, MS and Reginald Bridges of Ocean Springs, MS; his stepchildren, Karla Miller of Gautier, MS, James Miller Jr. and Bay St; and his siblings, Thomas Stallworth Sr. (Mary) of Moss Point, MS, Jean Franklin of Pensacola, FL, Lillie Pearl Nelson of Moss Point, MS and Shelia Green (Fred) of Detroit, MI. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
