He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Wesley and Winnie Davis Vaughan; his son Wesley Darrell Vaughan; and his siblings, Andrew, Winston, Clyde and Audrey Vaughan Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Kirkwood Waltman Vaughan; his daughters, Gloria Vaughan Lambert and Audrey Vaughan Winstead; and his stepchildren, Norman Jean Rucker, Paul Waltman (Jennifer), Kenny Morris (Deanne) and Cathy Dees (Chi). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and several step-grandchildren; along with numerous great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
Due to the concerns surrounding COVID-19, masks and social distancing are required to attend the service.
