He is survived by: his wife Lucille Loper; his children, Arthur Loper (Ann Ganette), Louella Lewis, Shelia Simmons (James), Loria Adams (Claude), Brenda Evans (David) and Mattie Brown (Steven); his siblings, James Loper (Shirley), LeOtis Loper, Viola, Inez Powe, Ollie Mae Beetis, Ola Mae Green, Shirley Pettis and Adrian Cherry (Donny); his sister-in-law Bertha Cato; his uncle Sonny Loper; and his aunt Susie Williams. He is also survived by grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
