It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Everett Stokes Jr. (Moss Point, Mississippi), who passed away on December 20, 2019, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Stokes Sr. and Ora Mae Stokes; his daughter Diana McLain; and his sisters, Francis Taylor and Patricia Wescovich.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Stokes; his children, Dewey Stokes (Sophia) and Kimberly Cooper; and his siblings, Reggie Stokes, Marie Mathieu and Marthie Murphy. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and special friends.
