She is survived by: her daughter Dr. LaTonia Thigpen of Moss Point, MS; her nieces and nephews, Robert Biggs, Samuel Adams III, Rosie Blackmon and Mary Biggs; her close friends, Bettie Jean Packer, Emma Lee Miller and Alma Hill; and her friend Equilla Hurd.
