With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Roberts Eklund (Moss Point, Mississippi), who passed away on September 20, 2023 at the age of 106. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Daniel Roberts and Alma Clark Roberts; her husband Carl Joseph Eklund; her siblings, Clyde, Ruble, Walter, Richard, Murray, Louie, Georgia and Cecil; and her son-in-law Sam "Sonny" Wilkins Vann, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Marian Joanne Vann of Moss Point; her granddaughter Melanie Patrice Vann Wieniewitz; her great grandchildren, Devin Vann Wieniewitz (Olivia) and Matthew Joseph Wieniewitz; and her great great grandchild Jackson Vann Wieniewitz. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Moss Point.
