He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Gene Carter and Martha Ann Carter (Keen) of Byron, GA.; and his brother Andy Carter. He is survived by: his wife Janice Jaye Carter (Walburn) of Moss Point, MS; his children, Benjamin Lamar Carter of Texas, Donald Ray Carter, Jr. of California, Jason Park of Byron, GA and Kristy Hill of Ocean Springs, MS; and his siblings, Sheila Grube (Jeff) of Warner Robins, GA and Dale Carter of Byron, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
