She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther K. Hudson and Mary Hudson of Virginia; her husband H. L. Porter, Jr.; her son Steve Porter; her grandchildren, Buffie Porter and Bud Beckham; and her siblings, Howard Hudson, Luther Jack Hudson, Charles N. Hudson, Francis "Love" Bullock, Thelma "Tiny" Hudson, Mary Mandy Hudson and Rachel Virgie Almond.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Porter (Sandra) and Vickie Brooks (Ronnie); and her grandchildren, Rustin Porter (Keisha), Amber Cumbest (Chad), Jason Porter (Heidi) and Nena Gregory. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
Due to the concerns surrounding COVID-19, the family will have a private graveside service for Mrs. Dolores on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Caswell Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery with Bro. Gene Emswiler officiating.
