He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Lessley and Margaret Wright Lessley; and his siblings, Earl Lessley, Diane Lessley and Helen Hampton.
He is survived by: his close friend Karen; his wife Karen Upton Lessley; his children, Michael Church (Jessica) and Veronica Litchfield (Timmy); his grandchildren, Mike Church, Brantley Church, Sebastian Church, Euriah Litchfield, Kaitlyn Comeaux and Baby Litchfield; and his brother Jimmy Lessley (Vivian Greene).
