With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clyde Vernon Wells of Moss Point, Mississippi, who passed away on October 27, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orie Hurlen Wells and Nettie Olivia Morie Wells; his children, Sandra Kay Wells and Brian Thomas Wells; his siblings, Vernita Davis, Hurlen Wells and John Wells; and his siblings-in-law, Michelle "Mickie" Wells, John Bill Davis, Robert Crowley, Thomas Bellanca and Billy Garner.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Liz" Wells; his children, Beverly Wells Mayo (David), Cheryl Chew and Charles Vernon Wells (Tracy); his siblings, Jimmy Dell Wells, Lynette Crowley, Virginia Parker, Alvinia Bellanca and Betty Garner; his daughter-in-law Katherine Poole Wells; his sister-in-law Joanna Wells; his pet Teddy Bear; and his granddaughter Elise Wells Robinson. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
Due to concerns surrounding COVID-19, a face mask will be required to attend the visitation.
