He is survived by: his children, Gina Gilliand Smoak and Jeffery Thomas Gilliand (Melesia); his grandchildren, Stephen Smoak (Tara), Austin James Smoak, Breanna Nicole Smoak, Christen Hope Gilliand, Chloe Megan Gilliand, Brandon Conerly (Abigail), Hunter Thomas Pettigrew and Brittany Lauren Padgett; and his great grandchildren, Natalee Renee Smoak, Abel Daley, McKenna Daley, Emory Saige Conerly, Kaylyn Shyann Whited and Brodee Padgett.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holder Wells Coastal Chapel (12800 MS-613, Moss Point, MS 39562). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Serene Memorial Gardens (12800 MS-613, Moss Point, MS 39562).
