He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Bridges and Massie Lee Bridges; his siblings, William Bridges, Mary Lou Johnson and Emma Jean Everette; and his parents-in-law, Jesse and Frances Malone.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Bridges; his children, Keswick Nettles (Jametrius McCon) and La Marge Bridges; his grandchildren, Shanya Davis, Asaiah Bridges, Kamariua McCon, Alyssah Horne, Jametrius McCon, Jr., Keslyn Nettles, Mariah Nettles and Aayce Bridges; his siblings, Joe Bridges, Jackie Bridges (Gloria), Edith Wells (Belle), Carolyn Bridges and Sherry Bridges; his siblings-in-law, Melvin Malone, Pauline Durdan (Phillip) and Lamarge Miller (Oswald); his friends, Tony "Pete" Howard, Johnny Taylor, Jr., Lorenzo Fuller and Sherwood Bradford; his godson Randy Hawkins; and his nieces, Doris Holmes and Hattie "Lisa" Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
