She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Coles and Pricilla Coles (Taylor); her son James Marlon Coles; her granddaughter Courtney McGee; and her sister Margie Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Harry Thompson of Moss Point, MS; her children, Cheryl Simmons of Pascagoula, MS, Sandra Wells (Henry) of Three Rivers, MS, Catherine Hall of Pascagoula, MS, Terri Hall of Pascagoula, MS and Rodney Hall of Moss Point, MS; her brother Harold Coles (Betty) of Moss Point, MS; her grandchildren, Brian Simmons, Mekela Martin (Ronald), Teria Nicole Fantroy, Cherlyn Turner (Terrence), Darrilyn Mitchell (Jessie), Kiarious Hall (Jazmine), Donterious Hall, Demisha Hall, Jamarious Hall, Malik Wells and Ladarron Wells (Kristen); and her close friend Cathline Thompson. She is also survived by twenty-two great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.
