It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Lee Smith (Moss Point, Mississippi), born in Front Royal, Virginia, who passed away on September 28, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Connie Smith (Viola Athey) and Elizabeth Smith; her siblings, Billy Athey, Junior Athey, Lynwood Athey, Parker Mauck, David Smith, Phyllis Athey and Virginia Athey; and her granddaughter Kally Slider.
She is survived by: her children, Sherri Crane (Brian), Robbie Smith (Anita), Tony Smith (Hope) and Chris Smith (Jessica); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Williams (Brett), Skyler Crane (Kara Jo), John Michael Smith (Korey), Colby Crane (Victoria), Connor Crane (Grace), Isa-Rain Smith and Honey Beth Smith; her great grandchildren, Lauren, John Ayden, Beckham, Asher, Barrett, Myles, Jolee and Brody; and her sisters, Lelia Mauck (Sis), Debbie Smith and Patsy. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes to build a church in Tanzania to honor Brenda.
