We are sad to announce that on April 5, 2024, at the age of 89, Betty Jo Pettus of Moss Point, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady McLendon and Alice Rebecca McLendon; her siblings, Dorothy Ann Watson and John Kendall McLendon; and her grandson Zachary Jacob Reed.
She is survived by: her husband Jesse Howard Pettus; her children, Gary Pettus (Emily), David Pettus, Kay Tice (Andy), Beth Lykins, Gwen Taylor (Dennis), William Pettus (Jennifer), Connie Pettitt (Raymond), Vicki Savage (Jeff) and Jennifer Smith (Bobby); and her grandsons, Jackson Turner, Shawn Goldman, Bradley Goldman, Andrew Tice, Caleb Pettitt and Robert Pettitt. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren; along with other family and friends.
