He was predeceased by: his parents, McKinley Meadows and Lydia Meadows; his daughter Shirl Lynn Dean (Jimmy); and his siblings, N. J. Meadows, Marvin Meadows, Leon Meadows, Helen Carey, Thellas Moseley, Maxine Smith and Lanell Jordan.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille Mills Meadows; his sons, Rocky Meadows (Becky), Wayne Meadows and Darryl Meadows (Karla); his grandchildren, Amanda Rice (Ken), Shad Jones (Heather), Chanda Schultz (Dustin), Ashley Allred (Byron), Jessica Rolison (Larry), Amber Synesael (Brandon), Krystal Meadows, Derek Meadows, Blaise Meadows and Sophia Meadows; and his siblings, Wendell Meadows (Shirley), Evis Jordan and Yvonne Lucas. He is also survived by sister-in-laws and numerous other relatives and friends.
