It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Tait Sr. of Moss Point, Mississippi, who passed away on July 21, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eloise Tait Ford and Alphonse Clausell; his aunt Rose Abby Tait Goldsmith; his mother-in-law Isabelle Norvell; his siblings, Patsy Peebles, Jerry Clausell and Angela Clausell; and his siblings-in-law, Johnny Walker, Ramona Norvell Jones and Walterene Norvell Gladney.

He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Norvell Tait; his children, Alfred Tait (Bridgette), Ennis Tait (Sheree) and Eleanor Michelle Gbesemete (David); his grandchildren, Taymika Beasley (Robert), Taymara Tait, Christianna Tait, Ennis J. Tait, Emmanuel Tait, Stephen Tait and Asher Gbesemete; his great grandchildren, Jada, Jacob Beasley and Trystan Torrez; his siblings, Eloise Ford Gaffney, Alina Clausell, Lois Walker, Jackie Harris (Gregory), Elizabeth Howard (Jeff), Bessie Halsey (Robert), Larry Ford (Roslyn), Fred Clausell (Mary), Calvin Clausell (Melissa), Samuel Clausell (Gail), Patrick Clausell, James Clausell (Carolyn) and Leroy Clausell (Cynthia); his aunts, Leola Robinson, Martha Davison, Mattie Tait, Sarah Tait, Juliette Crawley, Thelma McDaniel and Ann Clausell; and his sisters-in-law, Gertrude Norvell Williams and Joyce Clausell. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
