She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Barney and Sinai "Sinnie" Temple; her husband Melton Dozier Thompson; her son Michael Richard Thompson; and her siblings, Joseph G. Temple, William H. Temple and Marjorie "Donna" Temple.
She is survived by: her children, William Brent Thompson of Moselle, James Bruce Thompson of Moselle, Robert Monroe Thompson of Moselle, Joseph Ross Thompson of Moselle, Melton Emmett Thompson of Ellisville, Dorothy Thompson Johnson of Moselle, Virginia Thompson Smith of Los Angeles, CA, Vicky Thompson Hill of Richmond, VA and Betty Kay Thompson of Stem, N. C.; and her siblings, Donald R. Temple of Alma, AR., Barney B. Temple of Marion, OH and Mary South of Oklahoma. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
