She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy Ray Guthrie, Sr.; and her parents, Owen Downing and Thelma Downing. She is survived by: her sons, Jimmy Guthrie, Jr. (Rebecca) of Hattiesburg, Douglas Guthrie (Leannia) of Hattiesburg and Andy Guthrie (Debra) of Moselle; her grandchildren, Taylor Guthrie (Caroline), Carlie Guthrie, Ashlee Guthrie, Alexis Bullock (John), London Guthrie, Anthony Guthrie, Andrew Guthrie (Emily) and Sarah Guthrie; and her sister Ellen Downing Guthrie of Moselle. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
