He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Thomas and Nettie Guthrie; and his brothers, Walford and Thomas Charles Guthrie. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Ann Guthrie of Moselle; his sons, Jimmy Guthrie, Jr. (Rebecca) of Rawls Springs, Douglas Guthrie (Leannia) of Moselle and Anthony Guthrie (Debra) of Moselle; his siblings, J. D. Guthrie, Bobby Guthrie (Becky), Jackie Konensky, Shirley Page and Rachel Willimson; and his grandchildren, April (Steven), Taylor (Caroline), Carlie, Ashley, Alexis (John), London, Anthony (Monica), Andrew and Sarah. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
