In the vast expanse of eternity, James shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joyce Hollingsworth Cooksey and Walter Samuel Cooksey; and his brother Sammy David Cooksey. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Harrell Cooksey; his sons, Ryan Pitts (Lakita), Erik Cooksey (Heather) and Dustin Cooksey; his stepchildren, Elizabeth Thompson and Richard Thompson (Angel); and his sister Peggy Majure (Sidney). He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
