He is survived by: his grandchild Asher West; his parents, Bobby Townsend and Faye Townsend of Moselle; his brothers, Richard Townsend (Jackie) of Las Vegas, NV and Shelby Townsend (Minerva) of Davie, FL; and his grandmother Helon Townsend of Moselle. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
