He was predeceased by: his former wife Evie Boleware; his daughter Connie Sue Boleware; his parents, Clark Boleware and Pearl Boleware; and his siblings, Eva Mae Culpepper, Evie Lee Reid, Lloyd Harold Boleware and John Franklin Boleware.
He is survived by: his children, Clarence Boleware, Jr. of Moselle and Brenda Childress Wheat (Paul) of Collins; his grandchildren, B. J. Childress, Britany Childress and Dr. Kristina Sikes Bethel (Robert); his great grandchildren, Winston Childress, Anthony Childress, Lola Grace Bethel and Grayson Bethel; and his siblings, Lucille Rainey of Sanford, Floyd Boleware (Kathryn) of Seminary and Sam Boleware (Patty) of Seminary.
