It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Jean Agnew of Moselle, Mississippi, who passed away on December 24, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Mosley and Olivia Mosley; her husband Archie Agnew, Sr.; her children, Archie Agnew, Jr. and Patricia Agnew; her great grandchild Jeffery Bone, Jr.; and her siblings, Charlie Mosley, John Mosley, Vera Harrison Bernice Barnes and Florence Hunter.

She is survived by: her children, Joan Danner (Arthur), Betty Wells (Willie) of Hamilton, MS, Ruby Wilson, Douglas Agnew (Marilyn) of Columbus, MS, Doris Burr (Ervin) of Steens, MS and Freddie Agnew (Toni) of Conway, AR.; her brothers, Billy Mosley of Hattiesburg, MS and Robert Mosley of Memphis, TN.; her grandchildren, Carissa Bone, Kimberly Danner, Benjamin Wells, Kelli Danner, Elizabeth Wells, Keith Danner, Julius Burr (Kendralyn), Nicholas Agnew, Natalie Pegues (Timothy), Avis Austin and Joshua Burr; and her great grandchildren, K. J. Danner, Jaxon Bone, Madison Agnew, Alivia Agnew, Jordan Austin-Harris and T. J. Pegues.

She showed that by applying time with the youth of Hopewell M.B. Church, in the Sunday School and Bible School Classes, taught them to form a strong Christian foundation.
