With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Lewis of Morton, Mississippi, who passed away on May 24, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Lee Lewis and Ollie Vaughn Lewis; his sister Laverne Renfrow; his nieces and nephews, Gilbert, Deborah Ann Renfrow, Jimmie Ann Mashburn and Rachel Varner Tadlock; his mother-in-law Zee Lindsey; and his sisters-in-law, Kay Lindsey Carter, Ruth Lindsey Brooks and June Lindsey Claypool.
He is survived by: his children, William Mark Lewis (Lorin) of Madison, MS and Melissa Lewis Lynch of Ridgeland; his wife Betty Jo Lindsey Lewis; his grandchildren, Lindy Lewis West (Griffin) of Hattiesburg, MS, Laura Lee Lewis Allen (Will) of Jackson, MS, Taylor Lynch Mitchell (Cole) of Gluckstadt, MS and William Cole Lynch of Pass Christian; and his great grandchildren, Vivian Elizabeth, Rosemary Lee, Summer Alyn and Mia Jaymes.
