He was predeceased by: his parents, Chet Coley and Maggie Coley; his wife Hazel Coley; his son Terry Coley; and his siblings, Mary Mot Hill, Erma Lee Russell, Lorenzo, L. C., Joe and Charlie.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Thompson (Ronnie Joe) of Pelahatchie, MS, Tim Coley (Irene) of Morton, MS and Roger Coley (Vanessa) of Morton, MS; his grandchildren, Joseph Thompson (Diana), Lance Thompson, Allen Coley (Lindsay), Kristy Atkinson (Sam), Ashley Gatewood (Eric), Angel Coley, Casey Coley and Ariel Allen; and his brother Chesley Coley. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Wolf Funeral Services - Morton (3054 US-80, Morton, MS 39117). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Morton Memorial Gardens (Morton, MS 39117).
