We are sad to announce that on September 2, 2022, at the age of 90, Vondell Norton of Morton, Mississippi, born in Brookhaven, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Grady Henry Norton; her parents, Marcus Nicolas (Red) and Alma Wallace Rials; and her siblings, Helen Givens, Bobbie Beeson, Veta Grenn and Joe Rials.
She is survived by: her children, Jan Winstead (Kendell) of Morton, David Norton (Kem) of Byron, GA, Peggy Phillips (Marty) of Morton and Vickie Faulkner of Pearl; her grandchildren, Michael Winstead (Amy) of Medina, TN, Nicholas Winstead of Jackson, Stephanie Drake of Brandon, Amanda De Leon (Geo) of Land, Jessica Norton of Tampa, FL, Joshua Norton of Byron, GA, Tyler Faulkner of Pearl, Michaela Phillips of Morton, Stephen Burek (Kristen) and Ashley Perry (Warren) of Byron, GA; her great grandchildren, Ashley Winstead, Cole Drake, Katelin Drake, Paisley Hernandez, Parker De Leon, Jason Keen and Zander Perry; her siblings, Bonnie Boyte of New Albany and Nick Rials (Diane); and her sister-in-law JoAnn Moak Rials of Brookhaven. She is also survived by nieces & nephews.
