As Viola Geneil departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Viola Geneil may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Viola Geneil leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Torrence (Dick) and Maude Magdeline Harrell; her husband William Ray Richardson; and her siblings, Justine Toney, Julia Smith, Flossie Prestage, James Richard, JW and Donald Torrence.
She is survived by: her daughter Judy Richardson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wolf Funeral Services - Morton (3054 US-80, Morton, MS 39117). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Allen Chapel.
