It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sue Tatum (Morton, Mississippi), who passed away on January 14, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph H. Tatum (Joe); her parents, James Isiah (Pat) and Susie Bennett Merchant; and her siblings, Myrtis Merchant Jefcoat, James Howard Merchant and Bonice Merchant Austin.
She is survived by: her daughter Lucretia Tatum Gaddis (Steven); her granddaughter Leslie Barham McCullough (David); her great grandchild Margaret Ellen McCullough (Maggie); her siblings, George Bennett Merchant and Mary Ellen Merchant Mathis; and her close friend Edith Stacey. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
