It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonya Marie Bardwell of Morton, Mississippi, who passed away on February 21, 2023, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Mary Sue Coward Torrence, Helen Sanford Graham and Cecil Howard Graham; and the father of her children Van "Buba" Bardwell, Jr. (Hal Richmond). She is survived by: her parents, Jerry Torrence (Hollie) of Florence and Brenda Garrett (Marcus) of Gautier; her children, Vance Bardwell (Hope) of Ocean Springs, Courtney Bardwell of Denver, Kelsey Taylor (Joshua) of Ocean Springs and Jarret Bardwell of Ocean Springs; her siblings, Jeremy Torrence, Crisler Torrence (Joy) and Nicols Torrence (Franziska) of Austria; and her grandsons, Nolan Bardwell and Beau Taylor.
