Merchant of Morton, Mississippi, born in Scott, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 25, 2025 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her husband George D. Merchant; and her son Doug Merchant. She is survived by: her children, Amy Merchant of Florence, MS, Kirk Merchant of Morton, MS and Karl Merchant of Ocean Springs, MS.; and her grandsons, Hunter Pierce and Matthew Merchant.
Her contributions to her church and students reflected her commitment to service and education.
