She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Graham Amason and Etta Marie Harmon Amason; her husband Volden W. Porter; and her siblings, James Amason, Janell Creel, Betty Reed and Gloria Ann Perkins.
She is survived by: her sister Martha Massey of Forest. She is also survived by her five grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
