She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruben Brooks and Anne Turnage Brooks; and her siblings, Polly Prestage, Molly Purvis, Helen Polk and Tommy Brooks.

She is survived by: her husband Charlie Jones; and her sisters, Maudie Guy and Alice Holmes. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
