She was predeceased by: her parents, Prentiss Bruce and Marjorie Hester Bruce; her sons, Patrick Courtney and Patton Courtney; and her brother Rickey Bruce.
She is survived by: her children, Peyton Courtney (Cassie) and Jennifer Nowlan (Chris); and her siblings, Darlene Hegwood (AL), Tammy Wilkerson (Monty) and Wayne Bruce. She is also survived by nine grandkids.
