It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Josephine Jones of Morton, Mississippi, who passed away on April 5, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Major Charles McGowan, Sr. and Margaret Hill McGowan; her son Mark Jones; and her siblings, Margaret Glazner, Rebecca McGowan, Glenda Edwards, Major Charles McGowan, Jr. and Bruce McGowan.
She is survived by: her children, Charolotte Morgan, Diana Errington and David Jones; her grandchildren, Daniel Miller, Heather Miller McCrory, Nikki Miller Risher, Alisha Jones Breazeale, Benjamen Morgan, Brandon Jones and Tristan Jones; her great grandchildren, Nicholas Boykin, Caleb McCrory, MacKenzie McCrory and Scout McCrory; her great great grandchild Jason McPhail; and her sisters, Betty Jo Raymond and Debres Holliday.
