She was predeceased by: her parents, A. D. Crane and Cora Stewart; her husband Cecil Register; her sisters, Juanita Blackburn, Virginia Gregory and Jean Dennis; and her son-in-law Alfred King.

She is survived by: her daughter Debra King of Morton, MS; her granddaughter Regina Coley (James); and her great grandchild Elijah Coley. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
