He was predeceased by: his parents, Ola Wiggins and Otho Hughes; and his brother Larry Hughes. He is survived by: his children, Rhesie Hughes (Stacey) of Homewood, MS, Carla Walker of Danville, VA and Stacy Wells (Robbie) of Pass Christan, MS; and his adoptive son James Hughes (Marie). He is also survived by his eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
